Entry requirements, languages, payments, examinations, certification and the cancellation policy. If anything here is unclear, ask us before you pay.
General information
- Minimum age: 17 years
- No previous massage experience required
- Learning materials and equipment are included
- Students do not need to bring a practice model
- Courses normally run from October to May
- The detailed timetable will be announced later
Teaching languages
Classes are taught mainly in English. Spanish support is also available, although advanced explanations may be clearer in English. Written materials are available in English and Spanish.
Payments
A €50 registration payment is required. It forms part of the total course price and is not an additional fee.
Longer courses are paid in instalments. The Five-Day Intensive and the 60-hour programme are paid in two stages; the 150-hour programme is paid in three. The exact stages are listed on each course.

Examinations
Courses with an assessment are examined practically, and the longer programmes also have a theory examination. The pass mark for the Five-Day Intensive practical examination is 70 out of 100.
If you do not pass, the retake fee is €50.
Certification
Each course issues its own certificate, listed on the course. The 60-hour programme certificate is issued by Rinrada Thai Massage School Barcelona with recognition and a programme stamp connected to the Union of Thai Traditional Medicine Society. The 150-hour programme certificate is issued directly by the Society.

Cancellation and date changes
Students may cancel up to seven complete calendar days before the course begins.
Students may change their course date once.
All changes depend on:
- Teacher availability
- Available places
- Course schedule
- Minimum group size
Requests made less than seven days before the course begins may not qualify for a refund or transfer.
Certification and working in Spain
The courses prepare students for Thai massage and non-medical wellness massage work.
The certificates are not medical degrees and do not qualify students to work as doctors, physiotherapists or regulated healthcare professionals. Students must not diagnose medical conditions or claim to provide medical treatment.
The school does not guarantee employment. Students are responsible for confirming their own work, immigration, tax and business requirements.
